What we do
Click on Safety
In 2010, AIP Foundation piloted a new Click on Safety e-Learning program, an interactive, computerized road safety curriculum for primary school students at 3 schools, reaching approximately 1,000 first grade students.
AIP Foundation worked with educational experts in the United States to develop the e-learning curriculum for primary schools in Vietnam. The new curriculum’s purpose is two-fold:
- To provide children the opportunity to play and experiment with traffic consequences without risk; computers offer an environment where children can see the outcomes of different choices and learn in fun new ways
- To continue AIP Foundation’s commitment to enhancing educational methodologies and training within the Vietnamese school system
Students study traffic safety once per week over the course of a six-week program, including extracurricular activities such as playground exercises and e-learning contests. The interactive curriculum includes games that help children to understand cause-and-effect scenarios on the roads and translate these lessons into real-life decisions.
