AIP Foundation Hosts Road Safety Camp for Students
1 April 2011 - Today, Nguyen Minh Quang Primary School held a traffic safety camp as a part of their Intel-sponsored Helmets for Kids program. More than 1,200 students and 220 Intel volunteers joined in the road safety activities. Intel Product Viet Nam's General Director, Rick Howarth opened the camp, saying that Intel was happy to continue promoting safety in the community through the program. In support of the Decade of Action for Road Safety, Mr. Howarth and the camp's organizers proudly wore the yellow road safety tag, an accessory specifically designed as a symbol for road safety advocacy.
Throughout the day, the students, volunteers, and teachers participated in drawing contests, theater skits, fashion shows, singing competitions, and the traffic safety game show, called "Who is the number one?". The fun-filled day ended with an award ceremony, celebrating the road safety stars. The Nguyen Minh Quang Primary School Parent's Association also donated to the road safety camp, maximizing its impact and demonstrating their commitment to the program.
