Le Thi Anh Thu's story
Le Thi Anh Thu was 12 years old when she was in a serious traffic accident. She was on the back of a motorbike, without a helmet, when her father was hit by another vehicle.
Thu suffered from a concussion and internal swelling that put pressure on her brain. Her head injury forced her to take eight months off from school, and her grades suffered as a result.
