- Motorbikes account for an average of 95% of motorized vehicles and motorcyclists account for 66% of all road traffic accident fatalities
- With only 16% of the world’s motorized vehicles, Southeast Asia sustains 44% of global traffic fatalities
- Traffic victims fill an average of 20-30% of all hospital beds
- Current losses to the region’s economies are 2.3% on average
